Patients come to us for injectable/filler treatments for a variety of reasons. They may be concerned that their frown lines between the brows make them look tired, stressed or unapproachable. Botox® and Dysport® and Xeomin®
are products that are injected to temporarily relax the muscles between the brows. By blocking the release of the chemical that causes these muscles to contract, the muscles relax so the skin appears smoother. This is a non-surgical procedure, with minimal discomfort and no downtime. Dr. Merkel will determine the exact technique to inject the product to achieve the best results for you.
Fillers
Fillers help restore volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds. There are numerous injectables on the market and we carry the products that Dr. Merkel feels gives the best results. What is best for you? Fillers can also be used to change the shape of your nose. Until recently, changing the shape of your nose would have required surgery, with the accompanying post-surgical recovery.
